    Whether you are aiming for a full unrestricted Category A licence, an A1 light motorcycle licence, or an A2 restricted licence, we can train and prepare you for both Module 1 and Module 2.

    LMT: A Different Approach to Motorcycle Training

    Instead of selling you a complete training course that includes everything from CBT to Mod 2 and charging a large amount upfront, we keep DAS training flexible. A fast-track course may suit some riders, but it does not account for failed tests or life changes.

    How Our DAS Training Booking Process Works

    All prices quoted include VAT, bike hire, insurance, petrol, helmet, and gloves hire.

    Book Your Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)

    The cost of CBT starts from

    and takes a full day.

    • You will need a UK driving licence, including provisional, or an EU driving licence registered with the DVLA.
    • You should be able to ride a bicycle and have a basic understanding of the Highway Code.
    • Many beginners find it easier to complete CBT on an automatic scooter.

    DAS Training - Module 1 and Module 2

    Once you have completed CBT, you can book training for Module 1 and Module 2.

    • Module 1 covers slow-speed maneuvers and takes place off-road at a test centre.
    • Module 2 is the practical on-road riding test.
    • Both modules must be passed to obtain your full motorcycle licence.
    • Note: The DAS training does not include Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests. Those need to be purchased and booked separately.

    Module 1 Test

    The Module 1 test is an off-road assessment of slow-speed maneuvers.

    • The Module 1 test must be passed before you can take Module 2.
    • The test includes slow ride, slalom, figure of eight, and U-turn maneuvers.
    • It also includes hazard avoidance, a controlled stop, and an emergency stop.

    Taking the test

    The DVSA test fee for Module 1 is GBP 15.

    If you are on a small bike, you can book and travel to the test centre independently if you prefer.

    If you are on a larger bike, an instructor must take you. This service costs £200 for bike hire and the instructor. To book a test through us, you must have completed your training with our school. You also need to purchase the test through us so we can guarantee bike and instructor availability.

    Module 2 Test

    The Module 2 test is an on-road assessment of your riding ability.

    • The Module 2 test must be passed to obtain your full motorcycle licence.
    • The test includes a road ride with an examiner and about 10 minutes of independent riding.
    • It also includes an eyesight check and two vehicle safety questions.

    Taking the test

    The DVSA test fee for Module 2 is GBP 75.

    Again, if you are on a small bike, you can book and travel to the test centre independently if you prefer.

    If you are on a larger bike, as with Module 1, an instructor must take you. This service costs £200 for bike hire and the instructor. To book a test through us, you must have completed your training with our school. You also need to purchase the test through us so we can guarantee bike and instructor availability.
